I chose the George specifically for its proximity to this landmark. To my delight, the hotel featured a complimentary Full English breakfast, which was a fantastic way to start my day. The service was excellent, and the breakfast spread exceeded my expectations, energizing me for my adventures.

Luxurious and immaculate rooms with lovely beds, an ironing set, an electronic key card, coffee and tea making facilities. A nice enough area, brilliant location right by Axminster, the centre, and the restaurant. Again, not far from River Cottage.

The room was spacious and spotless with a comfy bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good, though I'd have liked more options. The location is lively, so expect some noise, but it didn't bother me. A lovely experience!

We visited with my nephew and loved the relaxed vibe of this place. The breakfast was a highlight, with mouthwatering options that fueled our days exploring Axminster. The location made it easy to check out nearby attractions, and the kids had plenty to do at the hotel.
For dads, it would be great if the family rooms offered better soundproofing from the outdoor patio, as noise sometimes kept us up at night.
